This is an example of a masked redirect. This page is hosted by www.fortunecity.com (it is their banner that you see, not ours), but the URL in your browser window it still says www.draaisma.net/yourname. This is achieved by a frames trick. For the techies, an index.html file is stored at draaisma.net which only contains a frameset which in turn loads a remote webpage. If you click on the link below, you will see that you can have an entire website underneath - the URL will still be masked.
(Please click this button. It takes only a few seconds and you will help someone
who is starving.)
This solution can pose a problem for certain java scripts in which it is refered to frames. If you don't know what I'm talking about, then you don't have to worry about it. A way to solve this is to have a redirect that doesn't mask the URL - like this: www.draaisma.net/yourname-notmasked
